Job Title: Customer Service/Tech Support Agent
Job Description:

Hawkins Personnel Group is currently seeking Technical Support Agents to join an educational and testing company located on the North East side of San Antonio. Candidates are providing assistance and technical support to K-12 educational professionals throughout the US. This position is a temporary six month project and candidates have to be available to complete the project. The schedule will be Monday-Friday between the hours of 6am-8pm (candidates must have an open availability)

  • Experience with a customer relationship management tool
  • Knowledgeable and proficient with internet usage, terminology and protocols
  • Willingness to learn and become an expert on new systems, software, and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Required Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven track record of great customer support skills
  • Minimum 12 months working in a contact center environment. 2+ years preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting issues with Windows, Mac, iPads and Chromebooks
  • Experience troubleshooting issues in all major browsers (IE, Chrome, FF, Safari)
  • Technical knowledge of major operating systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to understanding of Internet Protocol (IP addresses), clearing caches, cookies, and other basic computer knowledge in a timely manner
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft and Google products
  • Willingness to learn and become an expert on new systems, software, and procedures
